While The Inn can accommodate most active adult lifestyles, it's important to know that every Inn resident enjoys priority access to Waveny’s entire continuum of healthcare services, programs and facilities, should their personal or financial needs ever change. This includes the opportunity to receive support services and personalized assistance right here at The Inn through Waveny at Home, and access to Waveny Care Center for 5-star Medicare and Medicaid accredited skilled nursing. As a member of our rental community, you won’t need to worry about high purchase costs, buy-in fees, or the burdens of home ownership. Our intimate size fosters a personal setting where you'll feel cherished, safe and fulfilled. You'll enjoy three chef-prepared meals served daily, a variety of social, cultural and educational activities, housekeeping and linen services, 24-hour security and response systems. Family and friends are always welcome to join you for meals, celebrations, shows, concerts, themed events, and other special occasions. Personal vehicles are welcome and parking is convenient. We are also happy to assist you in arranging transportation for your personal outings, when you so desire. We are honored by more than 100 "Friends of The Inn" and and loyal volunteers who brighten life in countless ways – playing the piano, leading discussions on current events, assisting with gardening projects, helping as personal shoppers, and so much more. Conceived and planned out of concern for the quality of life for our neighbors, Waveny was built entirely with contributions from the community. We are incorporated as a nonprofit charitable organization and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
