The Commons

The Commons is a United Methodist Retirement Community founded in 1962. It is a not for profit, faith based community that is a welcoming place for people of all backgrounds and beliefs to call home. Secure, safe and nestled conveniently in the heart of Enid on a beautifully landscaped 20-acre campus, The Commons provides a variety of living and care options for adults ages 55 & up in a relaxed and carefree atmosphere. Our continuum of care offers several levels of award winning health care services to suit a variety of preferences and needs. For the senior adult that is able to continue an active lifestyle and to live independently, our Wesley Townhomes and Asbury apartments offer some great living options. Our townhomes are located on the east side of our campus. A resident pays an entry fee for the town home and down the road, once they are no longer living in the home, it is resold and 80% of the original entry fee is returned to the resident or their estate. Our apartments offer the same independent lifestyle but are in a modern two story apartment building connected to our main facility. The apartments do not require an entrance fee or purchase and are rented on a month to month basis with no long term lease required. Both independent living options include dining in our private dining room, laundry hookups, major appliances and include all lawncare, maintenance and housekeeping services as well as a variety of activities.
