Park Place Independent Living

Park Lane Nursing Home is an entity of Scott County Rest Home Inc., which is a non-profit corporation founded in 1964 for the sole benefit of managing the nursing home for the County of Scott County, Kansas. Scott County Rest Home Inc., is managed by a 5 member Board of Directors composed of people from the community appointed by the Scott County Commissioners, that have an interest in long term care & retirement. Park Place Independent Living Apartments, which are composed of 20 apartments, 3 Studio, 14 one bedroom and 3 - 2 bedroom *semi-independent apartments. Park Place Independent Living as of October 1, 2016 Services Provided - monthly rental price includes noon meal each day, weekly housekeeping services, all utilities (except cable tv, telephone and internet) emergency call services and morning nursing assistance daily by home health aides The resident must provide all personal furnishing, clothing and linens. Furnishings - Each apartment is furnished with a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. There are washer and dryer hook ups in each apartment, but not provided with the appliances. Extra charges - miscellaneous charges for transportation, laundry services, extra housekeeping, morning, evening and guest meals, women's hair care, men's barber and additional non-emergency nursing care are outlined on the ancillary charge schedule and are available to the residents of Park Place. Garage rentals are also available on a limited basis.of $25/month.
