Our Service The basis of our service model is a belief that residents live best when they remain as independent as possible in a long-term community surrounded by friends. Covenant Retirement Communities has been leading the charge to meet the needs of older adults for over a century. Since 1886, we’ve focused on helping residents live more fulfilling lives. We continue to build on this great legacy as we expand to serve more communities. Today, at Mount Miguel Covenant Village, we believe being a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community allows us to offer a place that fulfills the needs of residents in ways that other communities simply can’t. We deliver services and amenities that nurture individuality and empower each resident to strive for his or her greatest level of well-being. The result is a welcoming environment that’s more than just a community of people—it’s a place residents are proud to call home. Keep in mind, you do not have to be a current resident of our retirement community to benefit from our assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing or short-term rehabilitation services, nor will you have to pay an entrance fee to enter one of the areas noted above. In our short-term rehabilitation program, we accept Medicare and are in-network providers for a number of managed care and Medicare Advantage programs. Meadowbrook Village is licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). As a Continuing Care facility, we offer both fully independent and assisted living, allowing our residents to “age-in-place” in a community they love. Services such as assisted living, dining, and housekeeping are charged on a “fee-for-service” basis to maintain residents’ independence. Our fee structure, a lifetime lease entrance fee followed by low monthly maintenance fees, encourages long-term residence and community-building. Our brand new facilities were likewise built specifically with independence and flexibility in mind. Our spacious cottages and private apartments, wide streets and abundant green space create a beautiful residential setting. All 104 of our residential units come equipped with well-appointed kitchens and private laundry rooms. Our dining areas,activity rooms, coffee house, fitness center and walking trails combine to promote an active and social lifestyle. Our Future Additional space in and around the Meadowbrook Village property has been preserved for future development. An additional residential apartment building is anticipated based on future demand.
