Located in the charming, vigorous Central Minnesota town of Albany, Mother of Mercy has maintained the highest standards of care ever since it opened its doors in 1959. We provide health and residential care and services for older adults in a modern, yet comfortable and home-like, environment. Each individual’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs — key ingredients for happiness — are what Mother of Mercy is all about. This is an exceptional place; we have regularly achieved A+ ratings from the Minnesota Department of Health and once received the honor — rarely given — of a rating of “zero deficiencies”! We are proud of our facilities and the work we do and invite you to come for a visit. Whether your interest is our Care Center (nursing home), our assisted or autonomous living residences, Memory Lane, or our rent-assisted apartments, you are always welcome. All tenants of our apartments enjoy dining together with their friends and neighbors in our community dining room. Right on premises, there are laundry facilities, activity rooms, and a beauty and barber shop; also our chapel offers a variety of spiritual activities including near-daily mass and rosary services. Activities abound, both scheduled and unscheduled. Busing transportation is provided for groceries, the pharmacy, the post office, and bank.
