Morning Breeze is a continuing care retirement community that has been providing quality care in Decatur County since 1999. Located in the Rolling Meadows neighborhood, less than a mile from Decatur County Memorial Hospital, we are a licensed not-for-profit and are certified by Medicare and Medicaid. Our mission is to enhance our resident’s quality of life by providing exceptional individualized care at an affordable cost. We offer multiple lifestyle options and various levels of care to best suit the individual needs of each of our residents, allowing our residents to age in place as their care needs change. In addition, a stay at Morning Breeze includes a full complement of meals, a range of optional social activities, and many other amenities designed to make life enriching. Morning Breeze offers you or your loved one all the comforts of home while also providing the security of 24-hour care. Living at Morning Breeze in our home-like setting provides many opportunities for social interaction with other residents. Throughout your stay, you'll be offered ways to get involved in different committees such as our Activities Planning Committee or Resident Council program. Our Resident Council is composed of more than 20 members who preserve residents rights and ensure that they are carried out for our residents. Our staff encourages residents to show their individuality by choosing the daily activities that they are interested in. Throughout the week, residents can also participate in a special coffee chat, bingo, book club, cooking classes, exercise classes, Bible studies, trivia, and card game groups. Religious services are held during the week for residents who would like to attend. We invite all of our residents to join us for our special movie nights to relax and enjoy watching some of their favorite actors on screen. Be it Garbo, Gable or the latest action hero, residents highly enjoy this time of entertainment. Residents may choose to go on our center outings twice monthly including shopping trips and a restaurant of the group's choice. Reading and talking books are also available to our residents to utilize during their stay. Carefree living is our goal for you when you reside in our Villas. The Villas offer you all the comforts of your own home without the hassles of owning and maintaining one. Enjoy the privacy of your cottage, along with access to all the resources of a larger senior living community.
