Premier Retirement Living for Over Three Decades Moorings Park originated with the members of Moorings Presbyterian Church. In 1980, the Board of Directors was founded and ground-breaking occured, paving the way for what would ultimately become Moorings Park. This non-profit Florida corporation was designed to create and operate a non-denominational community where retirees could enjoy a secure, comprehensive residential and healthcare program full of recreational, social and spiritual opportunities. Today, Moorings Park is widely known as the premier retirement community in Southwest Florida. Its 83 pristine acres are home to over 400 luxurious residences with unrivaled access to upscale and casual dining, comprehensive physician services, state-of-the art fitness centers and engaging social activities. By providing Simply the Best® facilities and services for successful aging, Moorings Park offers compassionate care to our residents. The Waterside Residences at Moorings Park were the first buildings to receive LEED Silver certification by the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC), a green-home certification program that rewards those that are designed and built to be energy and resource-efficient, thereby making them more healthy and durable for occupants. Since then, Trio Restaurant, The Center for Healthy Living and the recently announced Mid-Rise II Residence are all built or being built to the same specifications. As a member of the Naples community, Moorings Park proudly notes its Social Accountability Program designed to identify and improve unmet needs of the area we serve. As such, we support dozens of community health initiatives by distributing grants to local non-profit and public health agencies.
