Hill View Retirement Center is a Lifecare Community offering independent living, assisted living, nursing home care, rehabilitation, and memory support for its residents. Our community spreads out over 20 acres, housing over 300 fine people who enjoy retired life free of chores and worry, enjoying their time how they choose. We are located in Portsmouth, Ohio along the Ohio River and among the rolling, forested hills of Southern Ohio, which makes for beautiful surroundings and a mild climate. When you select Hill View’s Lifecare Community as your new home, you eliminate the uncertainties that can cause anxiety in your retirement years. Should the need ever arise, assisted living and skilled nursing care is guaranteed at little to no extra cost to our Life Care residents? Our Lifecare model provides otherwise unattainable insurance against the cost of long-term care, combined with homes and an array of residential services, all in one sitting. In addition, Hill View offers a modified Life Care plan as well as a lease option. There are several ways to make monetary gift donations to Hill View. Your donations help us strengthen our mission of service and care to our residents. Hill View Retirement Community is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, as described in the Internal Revenue Code, and your gifts, (with the exception of the Gratuity Fund), qualify as charitable contributions for tax purposes. Gifts of all types and any amount are most welcome by Hill View Retirement Community and may be given in memory of a deceased resident or in honor of a living resident at Hill View. Your gifts to Hill View may be designated for many worthy purposes. At Hill View, residents are free from the chores and expenses of home ownership. They have the time and energy to enjoy retirement with the community and companionship of fellow retirees. The carefree resort-style atmosphere with many conveniences and amenities ensures all residents are as worry-free, active, and independent as possible. Independent Living at Hill View is not just a typical downsizing to a small condo or apartment. Choosing Hill View is making a proactive plan for the future in our unique Life Care Community. Lifecare residents are guaranteed access to assisted living and nursing care when necessary. Care is provided for as long as needed for little or no extra cost beyond the regular monthly fee.
