Nestled in a natural park-like setting, Cortland Place unfolds over eight-and-a-half wooded acres in pastoral Greenville, Rhode Island. Cortland Place is fully certified and staffed to care for residents in a variety of settings. Cortland Place is hosting a series of exciting educational events in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association. The “Getting Started” series will begin on December 7th and will run from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm. The second class, “Basics of Alzheimer’s”, will take place on December 21st during the same hours. These fruitful classes are designed for providing family members, caregivers, and professionals with information and guidance that will enrich relationships with individuals who suffer from this disease, and will continue into the new year. Classes are free to attend and light refreshments will be provided, but prior registration is required.
