Cahaba Trace consists of 42 one and two bedroom apartments and 19 Garden Homes. Cahaba Trace offers many amenities and fee-for-service options to its residents including the following: Physician Services Housekeeping Meal Services Care Coordination Social Services Home Health (if needed) Transportation Services Pharmaceutical Services Cahaba Trace considers and admits people age 55 and older without regards to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Congregate Housing at Cahaba Trace is an independent living community within the Bibb Medical Center Continuing Care Retirement Community. Congregate Housing Apartments are a wonderful solution for persons who live actively but prefer some services. Seniors in each home live and eat together much like a family. With 16 private bedrooms and bath in each home, seniors can experience professional care in a home-like setting without sacrificing independence, comfort or privacy. Residents must be at least 62 years of age and meet certain financial and health benchmarks.
