Windber Woods’ skilled nursing is Medicare and Medicaid certified for all 127 beds. We offer both short-term rehabilitation for skilled nursing and post-acute therapy and long-term placement for those residents who require a full time care environment. A full team of clinical staff who are focused on geriatric and sub-acute care form the care of plan for our residents. Individual therapies are prescribed by the residents attending physician and administered by qualified therapists. We place an emphasis on dining and recreation so that the residents can attain the highest quality of life while also receiving the skilled nursing care they need. The Coventry Place apartment complex, located within walking distance of our main building, provides worry-free living. The 15 apartments (10 two-bedroom and 5 single-bedroom) at Coventry Place offer secure, comfortable living only minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment, and medical facilities in Windber and Richland Twp. Coventry Pace is designed for seniors age 55 and over who can live independently and attend to their personal needs without assistance.
